Concrete Calculator is an informational website that provides concrete volume and material estimate tools for slabs, footings, and round columns. We are committed to transparent privacy practices that are designed to support United States, European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Swiss, and other international privacy expectations when this site is used globally.
1. Information we collect
We do not ask visitors to create an account in order to use the calculators. The site may still process limited categories of information in the normal course of operating a website.
- Information entered into calculator fields so the browser can display results on screen.
- Technical data such as browser type, device characteristics, referring page, and approximate location derived from IP address when delivered by hosting or security services.
- Cookie and local storage preferences used to support site operation and visitor experience.
- Communication details that you voluntarily send if you contact the site by email.
2. How we use information
We use information to operate the calculators, secure the service, respond to support requests, and understand overall site performance. Calculator values are intended to remain within the browser session unless a browser feature or third-party extension stores them independently.
3. Cookies and local storage
This site may use limited browser storage or cookies that are necessary for basic operation, performance, and visitor experience. If non-essential third-party measurement or monetization tools are introduced later, this policy and any required on-site consent experience will be updated before those technologies are enabled.
4. Third-party services
Third-party providers may include hosting, content delivery, spam prevention, or analytics-related services. Those providers are expected to process information under their own privacy notices and contractual obligations.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar laws apply, we generally rely on legitimate interests for site security and service maintenance, and where applicable, steps taken at the user's request when responding to communications. If non-essential measurement or monetization tools are added later, we will rely on consent where required.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including legal, security, bookkeeping, and dispute-resolution needs. Email correspondence may be retained for support continuity. Consent records stored in the browser remain until deleted by the visitor or replaced by a new choice.
7. International transfers
Because hosting, delivery, and other service providers may operate in multiple jurisdictions, information may be processed outside your home country. Where required, we expect service providers to use recognized transfer safeguards and contractual protections.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Residents of certain U.S. states may also have rights related to profiling and privacy-sensitive processing in some situations. To exercise a request, contact privacy@getconcretecalc.com.
9. Children's privacy
This site is designed for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law to provide valid consent for data processing. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children.
10. Contact
Privacy questions, rights requests, or regulator-related inquiries can be sent to privacy@getconcretecalc.com. General support is available through the details on the contact page.
